Westminster Abbey – Stirling Moss Memorial
One of the services attended was a memorial service for Sterling Moss, the Formula 1 racing driver who died in 2020 during the Covid19 pandemic. Followed by a reception and a viewing of one of his iconic cars. He frequently raced with the car number 7, particularly in the early 1960’s when he was associated with the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB. The number 7 held a special significance for him as it was his mother’s lucky number. Outdoor photos taken in the grounds of Westminster Abbey.
