Dinner at Vintners’ Hall

Attended an Inner Temple guest night dinner at Vintners’ Hall on 26 January 2022, as the guest of the Treasurer of the Inner Temple, Her Honour Deborah Taylor. A huge joy to be at a lively dinner of eminent judges and young barristers starting out on their legal journey. There was a great buzz over drinks before and after dinner, a testament to a very good evening and real enjoyment to be out after a rather restricted time again in London in December and for most of January.

The Inner Temple has been refurbished hence the dinner being held away from the Temple. This has been an opportunity to clean paintings and tend to the silver collection and enjoyed learning about the challenges and opportunities.

Much ongoing work is being done to widen social inclusion and diversity at the bar. Judge Taylor is a keen supporter.
