Declaration

My year as High Sheriff of Greater London (HSGL) began on 30th April with my Declaration Ceremony at the Royal Courts of Justice (RCJ). I was honoured to be sworn in by Baroness Carr of Walton on the Hill, the Lady Chief Justice for England and Wales (LCJ) and hence at the very pinnacle of the justice system. Also in attendance in Court 4 (the LCJ’s own Court) was the King’s Remembrancer and several other senior Judges from the RCJ. This was followed by a reception for friends and relatives who could attend.
